Research Vetting Protocol

**Protocol 1.2:** Ensuring the Fictional Foundation is Solid and Contextually Accurate — Managed by **Rosa Mara**.

Goal: Validate Expertise and Experience (E-E) in Contextual Analysis

This protocol applies to all content, including analytical articles, that references established external facts (e.g., historical periods, scientific concepts, linguistic rules). Its purpose is to ensure that analyses, even of fiction, maintain a **credible factual and methodological foundation**.

*This protocol is officially governed by the **Contextual Foundation** methodology, as codified in **The Arc of Integrity** (Chapter 2).*

Phase 1: Source Identification and Review

STEP 1.1: PRIMARY SOURCES MANDATE

Identification of Core Claims

The author must flag all assertions that rely on real-world data (historical dates, scientific laws, cultural context). For these claims, the use of **Primary Sources** (original documents, academic papers, direct quotes) is mandatory for verification, reinforcing **Experience (E)**.

STEP 1.2: CROSS-VERIFICATION

Independent Vetting

All core claims must be validated by at least two independent, peer-reviewed sources or academic texts. **Rosa Mara's** team is responsible for performing a 3-way check on all historical or scientific data points mentioned.

*The criteria for the 3-way check are defined by the **Factual Accuracy Vetting Standard** authored by Rosa Mara, fully detailed in **The Arc of Integrity**.*

Phase 2: Consistency and Integrity Check

STEP 2.1: CONSISTENCY AUDIT

Analytical Distinction: Lore vs. Reality

The content must clearly distinguish where a real-world concept is being *analyzed* within a fictional context. The check ensures consistency between the argument and the Sanctum's internal Lore documents (overseen by **Renato Couto**), avoiding contradictions in the analysis.

STEP 2.2: TRANSPARENCY REQUIREMENT

Flagging Assumptions and Interpretations

Any part of the analysis that is based on *assumption* or *critical interpretation* (as opposed to verified facts in the real world or in the Lore) must be explicitly flagged for the Editorial Compliance Reviewer (**Felipe Pedranza**) to ensure full transparency.

Phase 3: Documentation and Sign-Off (Trust)

STEP 3.1: ARCHIVAL

Research Trail Archiving

All research sources, Vetting Reports, and conflict logs are compiled into a formal **Research Trail Document** and archived in the Sanctum’s private records. This trail serves as the auditable proof of our Experience (E).

STEP 3.2: FINAL APPROVAL

Rosa Mara Certification

Only after **Rosa Mara's** final sign-off (certifying that the document meets the Contextual and Factual Accuracy standard) is the content cleared for the Editorial Council’s final Authority and Trust check.
